"Learning Today to Lead Tomorrow"
At Moorpark Unified School District, "learning today to lead tomorrow" means that students are prepared for college and careers with a well-rounded education including the sciences, humanities, visual and performing arts, physical and health education, character development and community service learning.
STUDENTS IN THE NEWS A message from the Superintendent: Greetings everyone! I cannot believe we are half way through the school year. I want to thank our staff, parents and community members for their continued support of our students and schools. Each year brings new challenges and changes; this year all school districts in the County are preparing for the new Common Core Standards. The most recent edition of the Ventura County Office of Education's "Focus on Education" publication provides details and resources for parents regarding these new standards. Please review it at your convenience. Teresa Williams, District Superintendent
